CBAM Wise

Your EU customer asked for CBAM data. Here is how to answer, for free.

If you produce steel, aluminium, cement, fertilisers or hydrogen and sell to the EU, your customers must report the emissions embedded in your goods. With your data, they pay less than with the EU's default values, and you keep the customer.

What you received

An email from CBAM Wise on behalf of your customer, with a secure link. The link shows which goods (CN codes), which tonnes and which period your customer asks about. You need no account and no password, and it costs you nothing.

What to send

  • The installation that produced the goods, and its operator.
  • The specific embedded emissions per good, in tonnes of CO₂e per tonne (direct, and indirect for cement and fertilisers).
  • The production route.
  • The verification report from an accredited verifier.
  • A carbon price paid in your country, if any, with evidence.

The easiest way: upload the EU's communication template (the operator's emissions report) or your own Excel file. The form fills itself, and you type only what is missing. You can save a draft and come back.

Who sees your data

Only the customer who sent the request. If another EU customer asks later, you decide whether to share the same data with them. The data is stored in the EU.
